Privacy policy

You are sending us a photograph of your hand. This page says exactly what happens to it, and to everything else you give us.

Your palm photograph

• It is used for one purpose only: to prepare your reading.
• It is not stored. The image is processed when you submit it and discarded as soon as your reading has been prepared, it is never written to our database or file storage.
• It is never published, sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train anything.
• It is sent over an encrypted connection to the service that prepares your reading, which does not retain it for its own use.

What we do keep

• Your first name and email address, so we can send your reading and let you return to it.
• The written text of your reading and the list of features identified in your hand.
• Whether you purchased the full reading. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.

How long we keep it

Your written reading, name and email are kept for 12 months from submission so you can come back to it, then deleted. Payment records are kept by Stripe for as long as tax law requires.

Deletion on request

Write to support@thefourlines.com from the email address you used and we will delete your reading, name and email within 7 days, and confirm when it is done. You don't need to give a reason.

Email

We email you your reading and nothing else. No newsletters or marketing unless you ask for them.

Cookies

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies during checkout to prevent fraud.
